Some movie reviews
Recently been seeing a lot of movies since I have no girl lately, no work and no school. I'm going to rate these movies best out of 10, 1 being the worst, 10 being the best. Here's what I got:
Wolf Creek - 1/10 - Holy shit, this movie is the worse movie I have EVER seen. I mean, this is the most desperate attempt at a movie ever made. The movie has no story at all and I literally mean this. Some kids get caught by a killer and they have to escape, there is no background on the killer or the kids, that's all the story is, there is nothing at all in this movie, I mean... wow this movie sucked.
Just Like Heaven - 7/10 - Very nice movie and at times funny. The story is pretty uniqe and it taking a big chance, but it actually works out pretty well. Reese always performs flawlessly, as always. The movie could have added a little more, there are some things that are left out and it feels like the movie could've squeezed some more juice out of the movie, but it seems they decided to keep it short. Definate recommendation.
American Pie: Band Camp - 4/10 - OK, this is a very desperate attempt to make a few more pennies off of the American Pie series. It's a pretty sad attempt, there are funny parts, but not worth watching the whole movie. The comedy isn't really even comedy, it's just really disguisting shit happening and some kid that is trying really hard to be like Steve Stifler, which is not funny. It has a couple of laughs, but not worth the wait, not worth your time.
Four Brothers - 8/10 - One of the best movies I've seen. Very fast-pasted and lots of action. The story is pretty nice, you really get to know the charecters and get to love the characters of the movie, just a very well put together movie. The only downfall is that the actual story isn't that interesting, although it doesn't stop you from enjoying the movie at all. To me, 4 brothers coming together to find the killer of their mother and finding out it was a set up murder is kind of corny, but the movie really makes it into a really good movie, definately check this one out.
Underclassman - 4/10 - ....This movie has a pretty weak story, with predictable action and it just looks like their trying to make you look stupid with some stupid action with a skinny black kid being superman. No real point to the movie other than to get some week laughs at some stupid jokes.
Lord of War - 8/10 - Very well put together movie, good story and gives you something to think about.
Syriana - 7/10 - OK... let me start off by saying when I was watching this movie, I was getting extremly pissed at how slow and how much talking there was in this movie. But, I was told that this is the genre of the movie and that's how movies of this genre are. It's very well put together, the story itself is also interesting. This is not really a movie where you expect a story to unfold, although a story does unfold, but this is more of a type of movie where it just shows you what's going on in the world. Sort of a glimpse into these worlds. Either way, I sat thru the whole movie and enjoyed it a little. Recommended for the people of these forums, since most of you seem like the type to enjoy this type of movie.

I'm sorry but when dialog is revolving same point over and over... and doesn't keep a person on the edge movie blows donkey cock.
Sideways the movie... goddamn someone give me a gun. Sure i had couple of laughs but movies that made in that style should be banned from Earth.
Sneaky bastard...

Syriana was a good movie. The movie pretty much said "Hey look how corrupt we are" and at the same time showed what corruption has given us. Its a lot like the movie Crash, another good movie, where it has many angles from different characters and comments about present day life.

Left a couple out:
Into the Blue - 6/10 - Just like everyone predicted, this was a movie that basically just showed off Jessica Alba. But suprisingly, it had a movie to present with it. The movie was much better than I expected. It had a mediocre story and made what it could with the story it was given. When I first saw the trailers of this movie I thought it was going to be some sort of horror movie, but it's far from that. There's no horror involved at all. Into the Blue is not an amazing movie, nor is it something that will leave you astonished, but Into the Blue is one of those movies that help you kill time and does a good job helping.
Dirty Deeds - 7/10 - Not a bad movie. The movie revolves around some deeds that are supposed to be done and whoever completes these deeds is supposed to be a "badass". Once again, given the cheap story it's given, it makes the best it could and it doesn't turn out that bad. There are some moments in the movie you think "Who didn't see that coming?". but you get over that and it's not that bad of a movie in the end. Worth the hour and a half.

Is Poland back to being one of the worlds biggest arms dealers yet? I figured it wouldn't take long for them to get back in the sadle.

Sideways was a good movie. Things don't always have to blow up. On the flip side of that coin, War of the Worlds, for it's high-fi effects and action, was a terrible waste of time and money. Terrible...just horrid.

I understand that derf, as a matter of fact my top 10 movies list would prolly contain 2-3 movies tops with special effects in it. Most would be old russian movies and they DEFENTLY dont have any special effects and only dialog. But sideways was NOT a good movie and they wasted about 30-40% of the movie's film.
