Linux Home Theater PC

Postby Deleted User » Nov 7th, 2004 at 3:13 pm

I have put together a quote on NewEgg for a HTPC based on Linux. The only problem is, there's 3 or 4 different Linux-based modules for the WMC-type on screen functions. The one I'm looking at now is KnoppMyth, which is a Knoppix distro with the HT mods built right in. Any ideas from all you Linux gurus out there that could help?

Thanks.

Sounds good, Knoppix is great as is Myth Tv. ti's a good combination to have them both on a single release.

Has anyone seen the mini-itx boards? The EPIA has an onboard MPEG-2 decoder. Only 7x7 inches...anyway. I'm gonna install one in my truck...but it would make a wicked home theater system...

The one I am looking at is the M10000...if anyone cares. It's probably the most popular...
