Vista/iPod fix

Postby K2 » May 22nd, 2007 at 3:58 am

Microsoft and Apple teamed up to provide a fix for a bug that would corrupt your iPod when disconnecting it from your Vista-run computer using the 'Safely remove hardware' feature - http://windowsvistablog.com/blogs/windo ... enter.aspx

You can d/l the patch seperately, or retrieve it thru Windows Update starting later today. Personally, I never had that issue with my iPod and Vista... however, I'd disconnect thru iTunes rather than doing it via the OS method.

I just don't use an IPod. Much cheaper and just as good products out there.
