Boot up tweaks for speed

Postby K2 » Sep 8th, 2006 at 10:29 pm

Some of this is common sense, but I personally didnt know about the registry tweak. Have a look - http://www.intelliadmin.com/blog/2006/0 ... rt-up.html

For any of ya out there that has a computer that takes forever to boot up, this may help ya somewhat.

Remember, the reg hack will adversely affect the speed when loading applications in exchange for the faster boot time. Also, be careful with some of those. They can end up gimping certain services you may be using on your home network (like file/print sharing).
