I do it some times also, but its all going away soon so I'm not very upset. I only want one thing to change and thats no choppers on warlord OR change the anti air emplacements to be more strategic.

I dolphin dive and bunny hop as well. Lame or not, I'm not going to stand there while someone shoots the shit out of me. Regardless of what EA claims, it's borderline intentional on their part (either that, or obscenely neglectful). It'd be very easy to make it so that your aim is seriously impaired when you jump, and with a brief recovery period to get your bearings and steady your aim. Alternatively, they could adjust jumping, so that it depletes stamina/speed boosts much faster, slows you down with each successive jump (so that after a few jumps, you're not able to move laterally anymore and you'll be jumping up and down in one place), makes it so that you cannot lay prone while jumping (durrrrr), etc. Note that EA has also claimed that barrel rolls were not intentionally coded into the game. Bullshit.

In my opinion, it's easy enough to do and is necessary enough to stay competitive that it's not an exploit. I find it ridiculous when servers kick or ban people for it, because it requires unevenly enforced subjective judgements upon players who are just trying to stay alive by reacting naturally. At what point is it no longer OK? I've run into more than a few server admins who are absolute nazis about it, with a couple telling me that I can't jump at all when someone is shooting me, not even once, or that it's an exploit to lay prone when jumping around a corner for cover. It's not like bunny hopping in CS which was an obvious exploitation of the physics code that took hours of intense practice to learn, and which some people could never be coordinated enough to perform.

Anyhow, I do it and I don't care if you do it. In the end it doesn't matter, since things always even out; I'll put a bullet in your ass either way, and everyone moves the same when they're dead.

i agree with u. btw its ghosttown - the best map imho. warlords doesnt have choppers, which is excelent.

When it comes to bunnyhoping and dolphin crap of course i do it too but usualy its when i c the other guy do it frst. or just one time dolphin to the side sometimes. or when i try and avoid a tank shell i bunnyhop a bit. Recently the hop to the side saved me from the tube a few times. if u run and dive forward once then shoot its ok i think - bet some ppl went out and called me a dolphin and i got kicked a few times for that). The patch should fix that crap. i wont be sorry to see it go away, in fact i welcome it, since i dont do it often anyway.

You know I don't really care when someone does it. It pisses me off if they kill me, but I'm not going to rant.Pisses me off when a good sniper kills me as well. That's all part of the game. I'm with suck. I've done it when someone is point blank with me. People will do what the game allows. They always have. They always will. Some of the camges will be nice, but in the end they will find a way to use them to their advantage. Hope I can figure it out first. lol

yeah it does look stupid. I was on a server where a clan of like 10 or 12 were just jumping everywhere. They didn't walk just jumped. It was just stupd looking. I will agree it just look retarded if nothing else.

Looks Stupid, FORSURE and its an exploit of the game.

But if im up against someone that is doing it also, You can be damn sure ill do it too. And at times youll catch me doing it if im in an area of several guys and my clip ran out... then im just gonna start DDing and knifing.

As for timing your shots, good luck against someone that is good at it... Chances are your just standing there shooting, while the other guy is DDing and shooting at you. 90% of the time he is gonna win. Ive been in situations with 3 guys in room and they were using GL's and a support weapon, in the end i was the only one still standing.

One more thing. Dont assume just cause someone jumped and then hit the dirt then knifed your sorry ass, that he was Dolphin Diving.

thats what i said (haha) about the dive forward and if u go against a diver u beter dive too or ur done. if the guy is not good at it u c right away and can time the shots if he is then u also c it right away and then its all about nades c4 and who can outdolphin who.

Like i said ive been baned before for a single dive forward which is basically doable in real life. sore loosers. i love to dive forward and knife the guy in the face. or pistol him.

speaking of TKs, you know what's really stupid? The game (or BF2CC) accumulates them over the course of your connection. This means that if you get 1 TK per round for 5 rounds, you'll get banned. That's just ridiculous.

Well guys, I’m sad to say that we are no longer gonna be able to keep the server up and running. The 29th of this month is its last day.

Couple reasons really, first I have used all of my recourses to try and advertise the server where ever I could. (The server just doesn’t stay full like it use to.) This did no good for us as it seems that anything we touch of lately just dies. (That’s good and bad ha-ha) And Second we just didn’t have the funds I thought we would to cover the expenses for the monthly fees.

I would like to thank all the admins that stepped up and helped us out running the server, we appreciate it. And thanks to the hardfought community for creating a great server in the first place. Sorry we couldn’t keep it going.

Anyhow, unfortunately for you guys this doesn’t mean you got rid of us and when you guys get a chance stop by our forums and give a "whets up"
