Anyone see the preview of this in PCGamer? Looks like it will be really good.

Think of it as a big hybrid of Starfleet Academy using 4 ships, played out like Civilization 4. Starting from the NX area all the way up to the most recent era, time passes and you upgrade ships with technology along the way. 4 races as well: Human, Klingon, Romulan, and Borg.

Picard > Kirk

Not that that has anything to do with this topic but it is true, now to the topic, I think it looks rather cool, may have to buy it.

Real time I believe. Plus, like the Starfleet Academy games, you can jump into the seat of one of the ships and take direct command. I always loved the mods for Klingon Academy the community made. Once had 15 constitution refits going up against a Super Star Destroyer. Star Destroyer FTW.

I forget what happened when I changed the constitutions to Defiants. I think it was a tie. Although, in space, there is no tie. You're both fucked if it gets to that point.

Revitalising old thread - Star Trek: Legacy should be on store shelves on Nov. 7th. I may have to get this one.

Please dear god tell me you didn't. Apparently, half of the games functions do not work and the learning curve on the controls takes nearly FOUR HOURS to survive the first battle.

Many people are referring to it as a beta that was never tested, packaged, and sold to consumers.

Average score is a 58%. Nice.

Yup, the game is poop. Considering how slow the the ships are (at least the ones you control) a turn-based approach would have been much better.

Bummer :(

That's the bad thing about a popular title. They can publish crap and still make tons of cash. I guess I'll queue this one for download ;)

Lol, fucking pred. Yeah anyway, Star trek franchise games tend to be more miss than hit for me. They've had a couple good shooters in the past though
