What's everyone playing nowadays?
I'm finding myself bored lately... think I am pretty much WoW'd out. Done all the new WOLK stuff, and to be honest it is pretty much more of the same at the end of the day.
Looking for something to play. What's everyone playing nowadays?

Congrats wasting your life on WoW.
No, but really.. L4D is all I really play now. Kind of sad, really. Other than that, I always find myself pubbing in CS:S. I would play more games, but GF is kicking my ass and wants to do shit. I've been wanting to upgrade my gfx card, but ... shit, you know? I will..

Suck. wrote:Relic, TXA, Oreo, Predator (if I can get his ass unbanned for his mad h4x), and I play CSS at the Old Bastards Clan [OBC] servers. Actually, Relic and I are in the same platoon, and TXA just joined as well and is currently in boot camp. They offer a variety of server and game types, and you can see a CSS server listing here (although the clan represents several titles across different genres). I usually play at the Atlanta Pub (72.5.86.215:27015). OBC is more or less a social clan with opportunities to play competitively, with the only requirement to join that you be at least 25 years old. We do have competitive teams though, and within each division (game), the different platoons compete in seasonal tournaments (currently in the middle of Winter Madness -- yes, our platoon is at the top of the ladder). They're a great crew, and just hanging out on Vent is a blast. </shameless plug>
I also play CoD:World at War and occasionally CoD4 on search and destroy tactical realism servers run by the Defenders of Valor [DoV] (server listing on page). It's TR, but they're not as heavy handed as many of the TR servers out there, and the rules are more realistic (i.e. you can sprint if you need to get somewhere fast, you can blind throw nades into rooms if you're clearing them, you don't have to always walk around crouched everywhere you go, etc.). The CoD:WaW IP is 66.225.198.114:28960. Another good group of guys, and I usually hang out with them on Teamspeak when I'm playing there.
The game that's getting most of my time though is the BattleForge Beta. If anyone's interested, it may still be possible to get a key. It's basically a card game crossed with a RTS, kinda like Magic the Gathering meets Starcraft. Fun stuff. It's being developed by Phenomic (great, responsive developers) in association with EA.
Playing less CSS and CoD4/WaW recently, but still playing BattleForge, which is now in open beta. It's definitely worth checking out. I'm leaning towards buying this one when it releases.
The game I'm putting most of my play time into now is the Men at War beta though. Although the game has already been released, they've continued to update the beta (while even more oddly ignoring needed updates for the actual game). While I've never played Company of Heroes, I've heard it compared frequently. It's a WWII era RTS game that focuses on realism. There's a lot of microing and it's somewhat difficult to master, but once you get it down, it's a lot of fun. This is another game that's worth checking out before they do decide to end the beta. I'm not sure I'd buy this one though, as the community seems to be lacking... there just aren't enough players... but that could just be because many have moved over to the full version of the game. Fun nonetheless.

Neverwinter Nights 2, I finally finished the original campaign...
Online I'm beta'ing Champions Online (shhhh don't tell) but I'm really hating the way the beta works, the game seems interesting, the few times I've been able to play but the setup so far is a mess. Its up 2 days a week, if that, and there is no notification, you have to run the start-up to see if it's going to be playable, and if not it just hangs and you have to cancel it. If it is going to be up you'll spend most of your time downloading the new patch which each time is like downloading the full game...
You have to REALLY want to play to Beta, to me its just not worth the hassle, by the time I can play I spend all my time creating my character then run around for a few minutes and then server down...
Dunno what I'm supposed to be testing, so far I've really only tested the character creator (which is freakin insanely huge).
SWG was much less hassle, less stable and the game pretty much sucked, but the Beta was up all the time.
I got into the Darkfall Beta but didn't even bother, all the hype and it's lived up to pretty much none, oh and the hacks are available before the game is

I want to thank who ever it was on Harfought the told me to D/L the WoW beta!! I think it was Maverick...... Been playing Wow for 4.5 years now. on Illidan. Look for Namdar. Life is passing by fast. Just had 20th wedding anniversary this year. Spy-Man turns 18 next month. I am still in the boating industry trying to wait out the depression. The old man went out and played paintball today and took pleasure shooting all the young punks
Now where did I put my Bengay...... I will have to remember my steam password and install CS:S again and maybe play a few rounds with you all again. Sure do miss those days of HFC.

Grats on the 20th Anniversary too, gonna be 2-years this April for my wife and I.
I'm pretty much not playing any PC games atm.
Playing mainly the PS3. Killzone 2 has me right now. Other than that some SOCOM: Confrontation and COD4.

I was playing nothing except Wii Fit until about a week ago when I convinced my wife that WoW could be fun for the two of us to play. She's not a gamer at all...but it could still be fun. I've been playing my UD priest on Dunemaul checking out Northrend, but I think we're rolling Ally on Skywall (My mage is there and can make us food and water). It will be ultra casual...but hey...that's really all I can hope for right now

I just quit wow a couple weeks ago. The end game content was more of the same of the old end game content. So for the second time the addiction is broken!
I'm playing more on XBOX 360 now-a-days than PC. I'm to cheap to buy the new hardware. I played Left 4 Dead last night and it is most likely going to be my new favorite

I quit WoW as well... saw all the new end game stuff except for Malygos... it was all pretty much the same as the end game stuff in the previous 2 versions. Got old pretty quick.
I am giving EVE another run... couple weeks in and it is holding my interest still. It's a slower paced game, which is nice with a newborn, and skills continue to train while you are offline which is nice.
