QFT. You have to admit, that hit was blatant and uncalled for. I like A&M, but I was even booing that hit.

I'm still missing what hit you are all talking about. I only watched the last 2 min of the game and I know that last hit was clean so don't be bitching about that and that is the one all the sports center clips focus on so I'm not sure wtf you are bitching about.

No I don't... I watched A&M run up the middle once, punt and then McCoy throw two incomplete passes before getting knocked out of the game and his replacement throw a pick. I am assuming the hit you are talking about came prior to that, and I can't find it on any highlights. Is there footage of the hit online someplace? I was on a plane coming back from Houston at the time of the game, I got to the TV in the terminal as A&M was lining up for a 3rd and 6 or so.

Why is this not in any of the highlights or game summary's?

Also can't find anything regarding this on YouTube. Actually can't find any recent football clips at all of actual games.

Then again I have never searched YouTube before, but I figured it would be a good place to find a clip like this.

Absolutely no video clips that I could find, not even a picture?

Commentary is nice and all, but a clip of it would be alot more informative.

regardless, colt shouldn't have played this game, it was obvious the shoulder was still bothering him.

For those who didn't see it. Earlier in the game, Colt threw an interception. One of the Aggies who was rushing Colt, turned and saw the interception, then turned back to block Colt. He did not see that his teammate who intercepted the ball was tackled shortly after that until he had already prepared to hit McCoy. McCoy, who did see that the guy was being tackled, began unstrapping his helmet just as the Aggie came to hit him with a block. Needless to say, he got leveled.

Upon further review, it looked to me like he hit McCoy maybe a second after the guy who intercepted the ball was tackled. Depending on how quickly the refs blew the whistle, it may or may not have been a blatant late hit. Regardless, if nothing else, it should have been an illegal block in the back, as he hit McCoy from the side, and did not have his helmet in front of McCoy.

The hit where McCoy was knocked out of the game was completely legit. Simple fact is, McCoy was not 100% from the K-State injury, but Mack played him anyways. I am glad to hear McCoy's injury was not serious. As much as I loathe Texas, and revel in the Aggie victory in Austin, Colt does have a promising career, and I would hate to see it cut short from stupid coaching.

The NFL has different rules about hitting the QB, so yes, it probably would have been a penalty in the NFL. In college, though, it was a completely legit hit.

NFL has gone pussy about QB hits, that would be a legal hit in the NFL on anyone BUT the QB.

A 30 second clip would be legal under fair use wouldn't it?
