Puppy you are still claiming the MLB, NFL, NHL champions cannot claim to be world champions because the US teams dont always win in international competitions. The MLB, NHL, NFL, etc. ARE NOT U.S. TEAMS, so your argument does not make sense. The leagues are hosted in the U.S., that is all. The best of the best of international players come to these leagues to play.

Yes, the U.S. baseball team did not win the WBC. Did you happen to check the rosters of the other top teams? Many of the top players in the MLB were playing for their national teams, not the US team. Do you really think that if the MLB all-star team, not just US players, went up against other teams they wouldn't win?

And please, trying to make an argument about Olympic baseball, when none of our pros play in the Olympics? Wow, Cuba's best players beat a college team that isn't even made up of our best collegiate players. Whoop-de-frickin-doo.

awww wid ... it's cool .. don't worry.

listen, some of the best US MLB PRO baseball players competed against the top talent from other countries in the 2006 World Baseball Classic. You saw the lineup I posted, right? We didn't even place.

Now, to where you say NBA, NHL, yadda yadda aren't US teams. Uhm, they are (with the exception of the few Canadians). There are a few players from other countries (in the case of NHL and MLB there are a vast many of them) but, yet again , I'll draw the parallel to soccer in hopes that you understand the point I'm trying to make:

The best players in soccer generally play in Europe, yet the winner of the Champions Cup doesn't proclaim itself World Champion, even though their teams (much like the MLB, NHL, NBA, etc) are made up of international talent.

yeah pred ... i want to see mexico/iran today .. should be good ...

on another note .. who thinks that ESPN/ESPN2 puts waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much shit on the goddamned screen? they have these bars that eat up half the fucking screen. and when you're watching in HD the top and bottom bars also take up a lot of the screen real estate.

blech, it's pissing me off when almost half the screen is showing bullshit information that's covring the ball position on the field.

Well i can understand the shit up top, though it can be move to the left and be 2x smaller. But shit at the bottom is useless :P. Whoever wants to find out other sports scores go online.
And yea Iran/Mexico should be a good match up. And with all these suprises i wanna see what Angola has to offer :).

well so far mexico iran is b-o-r-i-n-g ... i missed the first half but ya , didn't look that great either . I'm watching game on sportsnet and i only have the score in the top left and that's it. that's what i love about this game , there are no commercials during the game, it's the shit :)

well i will say this , it's nice that Mexico actually kept playing even if they were up by 2 , they could have just delayed the game and passed the ball around instead they kept attacking which is nice :)

I know it was asked earlier and i don't know if it was answered, but most of the games have torrents in hi-res HD xvid format.

http://www.eztvefnet.org/

You can find many games there.
