Tu 6/27 10:55 a.m. ESPN/ESPN HD 1st F vs. 2nd E 55 Dortmund

At best, I see USA going 1-2, and an early exit from the World Cup this year.

I doubt that. I think 1-1-1 is more likely with the second place in group F being decided by one of the tie-breaking criteria. I think the USA is in the most competitive group with Italy and Czech having strong teams, but I think they have a good shot at advancing.

I think US going 1-2 is the worst the USA can do, not the best.

those are the only ones i cared about. the rest are in that link. as for the torrents, i'm not a fan of watching taped stuff .. for that i'll watch the highlight reel.

Wid, US is actually ranked higher than italy, though FIFA rankings aren't the best ...

So sad to underestimate your own countrymen.

Only the Czech's are truely dominant. But they have had a few recent injuries.

Italy also has some injury probs to overcome and has a lot of pressure to prove they aren't the chokers they have been in recent big matches.

Ghana doesn't have enough balance overall to move on imo.

USA has an excellent chance to move out of this group. They don't have as much pressure to win as the other teams do.

i have tivo, but i hate watching delayed games like that .. for that i'll just watch the highlight reel :)

I remember when the worldcup was on in 2002 i went 3 days with ZERO sleep - went to school all day at 9am, went straight to the bar to watch soccer games all night, then right back to school - MAYBE pausing for a shower ... ahhhhhh to be able to do that again ...

I'm actually lucky in that I went to three world cup games when the cup was held in the USA (two in chicago and saw brazil/sweden in detroit - it was a tie).

My sister is studying this summer in Italy and I think is going to one of the games .. lucky bitch ..

I caught a World Cup game in Dallas back in the day. Forgot who was playing though, so long ago.
