Making a CS:S Movie

Postby Keyser Soze » Sep 25th, 2005 at 4:57 pm

Hey, I was just trying to make a CS:S movie of my own. Was wondering if you guys could suggest any programs that could help me out with special effects/sounds/editing. Thanks.

OK, from what I head, Ulead VideoStudious and Adobe Premiere are the 2 most popular tools. Can anyone suggest which way to go? Adobe or Ulead?

Vegas is what everyone I know uses. I have Ulead but haven't used it yet

adobe premiere is what most video editing pros use. well, they really use avid, but premiere is what they use when they can't afford avid.

Well, I was about to get Adobe, but a lot of people said that's a little hard to use and told me that Vegas is the easiest program to use and very nice as well. So I'm getting that.

Veggas: Easy to use but lacks certain functionality.

Premiere: A little harder to use, but way more powerful.

I'd use vegas.

Well, there's been a problem, it seems that valve, since the last update, fucked up demo recording. All demos adter 9 minutes fuck up and turn into some kind of.... well.. it's fucked up after 9 minutes, that's all you need to know.
