Been working my ass off for some consulting work (getting paid well so that helps). Wife is great, she's starting grad school. We got a dog (sadie), blacklab/spaniel mix, she's very sweet and mellow. Game stuff: PC: C&C3 rocks my world, CS:S every once in a while. Wii stuff: Paper mario is cool,...

I got an ubuntu mythtv box up and running within 40 minutes. Recording and everything. The only part that took a bit was the LIRC to get my remote control working. I love it. :)

Sadie Dog

We’ve been wanting to get a dog for some time now… we finally got one! Her name is Sadie. We picked her up from a foster family this morning. She weighs 15 pounds and is 4 months old. She is a spaniel/Labrador mix. She loves to run around and roll over (more like playing dead... but close. ) Here ar...

Laptop anti-glare screen?

So i just got a laptop for my wife. A nice dell e1505 tricked out, etc. Problem... they only offered the glossy option for the screen when i was buying it. It's not a big deal for around the house and for the normal stuff she does. But we took the lappy on a trip with us this weekend and the glare o...

Reorganize MP3 Collection

Hey all, So i was looking at my MP3 collection and i noticed i got music in shit loads of places. Some have full ID3 tags... some have partial. What i'm looking for is some kind of APP that will look at my collection, fill in the ID3 tags, and reorganize my music so i can actually use it. (i'm not l...

I know nothing... there are websites online that will help you figure out the cost of living expenses. I can't remember them off the top of my head... google them.

I'll second that. The graphics are nice, but still run on a lower end PC. It's way more fun than Supreme Commander.

Heroes > Battlestar Galactica. I know... i feel dirty typing that. But the honest truth is BSG is loosing it's appeal to me. Too much drama (love stories)... not enough action. BSG isn't moving the storyline ahead as fast as they used too. Heroes reveals something new each week... not to mention ope...

I'm looking to get a E207WFP. I'm going to wait till the price dips below 220 like it was before christmas. From the reviews it's actually pretty good for the price. Not as good as color quality as the other 20.1 inch, but i'm willing to accept that for $150 less cost, and better response time. 20.1...
