I didn't get swamped with PMs, but I was in the match server full of eager players trying out, and I must say guys, regardless of who made it in, it was an honor to play in a server FULL of great players. No fucktards whatsoever. I wish CS was like that ALL the time. It gets close in Hardfought serv...

We have plenty of experience in the LAN field, so it WILL be done right. It's not looking like many people are going to be showing, but we'll still have fun with a handful of people. :P

Yeahhh we'll be playing a lot more than CS. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if CS wasn't played much at all...HL2DM is really the HL2 mod of choice for a LAN party anyway. In the past we've been known to play a lot of Battlefield and Soldier of Fortune 2, but I get the feeling that HL2DM will be a m...

Texas is where it's at.

And DocNSane - we'll be playing a lot of HL2 games, obviously, but we're open to anything else.

[Comrade] LAN on Jan. 3rd!

Although I say it's a [Comrade] LAN party, it's open to the public! That's right, me, Germ4ny, and RaVE will be hosting a LAN party at our townhouse in Arlington the evening of January 3rd, and it will last all night long. There will be food and drinks, and possibly a 5$ door charge or something of ...

Also, sorry I haven't been around recently. Been in the hospital and back a few times. I have pharyngitis and it sucks ass. But it's not all bad...they've got me on liquid vicoden for the pain. ;)

I absolutely understand, WidowMaker. The map concepts would be very simple, as the mods are going to be gameplay based, not "omg that's pretty" based. The only thing is that I don't want to make all these ideas public, just for paranoia's sake. If you want more information, throw me an email and I'd...

Hardfought Mod Team (IMPORTANT) (attn:WidowMaker)

Guys, with the release of HL2:DM, I've got a great idea or two for mods. Not total conversions mind you, but just mods on the DM engine that would be a blast too. I shared these ideas with lanoldar, and he himself has some excellent ideas as well. The best part is, not only is the SDK out, but our i...

You guys may not think it's the best game ever, but wait until you beat it. The last 4 hours of the game are just incredible.

The "already beat it" thread

gg Half-Life 2

Played a solid 12 hour block and beat this beast. Truly the best game ever.

Thoughts? ;)

It'd be something like bind "r" "reload; say_team "Cover me, I'm reloading! yeah, without the quotation mark, since they messed it up. If you add the " at the end, what'll show up is this: [Comrade]Sero: Cover me, I'm reloading!"" with two of the quote marks. Anyway, I'd also like to point out that ...

Team Comrade is considering, we just have to communicate with the other guys in our clan first, to get the entrance fee and whatnot covered, but if we do definitely enter, our lineup will probably be as follows: [Comrade]Sero [Comrade]Germ4ny [Comrade]RaVE [Comrade]EvilSek [Comrade]lanoldar [Comrade...

I think the decision should've perhaps been the other way around. Havana is a lot better/more popular than chateau, so I'm thinking maybe chateau should've been cut, and havana cut in I and II. But hey, your decision. Either way I hate chateau :p

I wrote two binds that might help you guys out, I use both of them quite a bit, so check it out. Before reading this keep in mind that I don't have quickswitch enabled (since I find it easier to cycle through 'nades when you can see them). This explains why I have the +attack there, because that sel...

In Hardfought III yesterday, there was a group of people who thought it was hilarious to TK eachother and NsAnE. I don't remember all the names, but one was A. SCHWARZENEGGER and another was team//xT | SpAwN steam_0:0:84400 didn't get Schwarzenegger's steamid sadly, but yeah. Not sure of the time on...

I just figured this was a good idea because the information is there to access anytime, and it also warns others of these TKers so if they see them join they can swap servers or something. That having been said, this guy headshot three teammates in a row before he was kicked. Not before I got his in...

Hey thanks, wasn't sure how to get steam_ids but I'll keep it in mind. Yesterday while me and my friend [Comrade]Germ4ny were playing, this guy aVaLaNcHe or AvAlAnChE or however he did the caps was teamkilling. He started by claiming that I TKed him, which simply didn't happen. I hadn't even fired m...

Well the person that got kicked was kicked by an admin for sure, because shortly after while he kept it up, an admin said "cut it out or I'm going to have to start banning people."

I know of the autokick thing, but I"m positive there was an admin present.

Well I don't have information as to the date or time, because it happens at random. As for server, they jump between HF1, 2, and 3. So it's not just one particular one. Today (just now, actually, in Hardfought 2, 12:20ish CST), there was another guy. 800 Pound Gorilla. He changed his name to LagunaB...

CS:Source TKer list

If you guys have been playing in the three Source servers lately, you'll no doubt have noticed that a number of people seem to have a grand old time just coming in and TKing people, reconnecting, TKing again, lather, rinse, repeat. I know that it's harder to ban people now without adminmod, but I re...
