There is some jumping, but no more than any other FPS style game. Ok, well maybe a little more, but I wouldn't classify it as a platformer. In MP3 there is no "fall to your death" puzzles. If you do fall, you simply respawn back where you fell, minus a few hitpoints.

Have you played any of the other Metroid games? Metroid is not your standard shooter. It is much more about adventure, exploration, puzzle solving, and story than just blowing up stuff. There is a fair amount of shooting stuff as well, but that isn't the primary focus.

No clue, K2. I know there are emulators for older systems, but I don't know if any exist for newer consoles.

Don't know how many of you own a Wii, but MP3 will be out this August. Considering I am on of the game designers for MP3, I expect everyone here to buy it. :)

Seriously though, hope you guys like it. If not, you know who to bitch to.

The bad part which i dont like about people in general, is that if you're from country they dont like, it automatically comes down on person who's from that country. And it doesn't matter where you're from, EVERYONE does that. Everytime im in Russia i have to defend Americans, everytime im in Ameri...

Bobby = poster child of international relations. :) I would never go out of my way to offend anyone. I enjoy people from other countries for the most part. I enjoy learning about their cultures, traditions, etc. I enjoy seeing other parts of the world. If people ask me where I am from, I will tell ...

Have fun bro, Be safe. Good luck! And remember... you're from CANADA. Meh. I know you are (probably) joking, but there are some people who do that when they travel, and it always annoys me. If anyone asks me where I am from I proudly say I am from the USA, Texas to be precise. Ya know, if you don't ...

I didn't say "control". I said if Iraq stabilizes and its own government takes completely over, we would still have bases there, just like we do in Germany, Korea, etc. Don't you think that if some nutjob tried to rise up to overthrow the German government, we would use our bases there to ...

Why not Timmy, that is essentially what we have done with every other country we have existing military bases in. If we did succeed in building a stable government in Iraq, you can bet we would still have several bases there, to discourage any sort of wanna-be dictator thinking he can rise up and ta...

Keyser, read up on this issue before swallowing Olbermann's words as gospel... O'Reilly obviously misspoke, as he was talking about the US response to the Malmedy Massacre, where US soldiers allegedly shot and killed 60 German POW's. In Olbermann's hard-on to attack O'Reilly, which he does on a regu...

Pelosi refuses to meet with Gen. Petraeus

Nancy Pelosi has plenty of time to go overseas to talk with the leaders of nations that are actively aiding the very terrorists we are fighting against in Iraq, but she does not have time to attend the briefing with Gen. Petraeus, the man in charge of our operations on the ground in Iraq, in Washing...

I know this is nit-picking, but you need to watch MSNBC more. It is definitely far left. Chris Matthews, Keith Olberman, etc. are not subtle about it.

They edited down all the "umm's", bloopers, waiting, etc. to make the news blurb fit into a closing segment slot. It happens every day on every news channel. I will give you that it was a stupid thing to report about at all. Who cares what a congressman says as a joke on the Colbert Report...

Rosie O'Donnell leaves "The View"

Interesting. What are the odds with all the criticism she has been getting lately for her crazy antics/statements, following the blow-up of the Imus story, that she simply left the show on her own accord or that Disney dropped her?

Did either of you two read the article Yes, which is why I made the thread. I thought it was an interesting study, and the 3 main reasonings they found for their hypothesis make sense. I never claimed the study was perfect or unbiased. No, I did not research the main "sociologist". I simp...

What does the fact that Fox News reported about this study have to do with anything? Fox News didn't conduct the study.

Did you even read the article, or just rush to bash it because the story is on Fox News?

Random posts on craigslist don't particularly carry much weight. While it very well could be a legit post, it could just as easily be any random person who opposes the war making shit up on a high-traffic website. This rings similar to all the fake "this MMO player died in real life" posts...

While my initial posts were general the last one was specific, each one of those people has had horrible things to say about homosexuals and they preach to a huge number of people.
