FYI, vista is image based installation. Not the traditional method of copying files from CAB's. So even with the upgrade version, you will get a clean installation. It does suck that you have to install XP first though. Keep in mind that image based installation is quick anyway.

Shit happens man, such is life. I'm sure zipzoom (or whatever), or any company shipping thousands of packages a day, could never possibly screw up =/ Seems like they got you new stuff out pretty quick after you brought it to their attention...best you can hope for. You seem high maintainance.

Voted YES.

Unfortunatly I think most will say no here. Most of the ppl I've seen play here tend to run around with shotguns and P90's (IE: lack of strategic playstyle).

HF map rotation: dust2 dust, office, or aztec dust2 dust, office, or aztec dust2 ... I think the vote system is to blame here. Until forced, don't expect anybody to pick a custom\new map. If people are forced (ie no vote) into playing a custom\new map, I would be willing to bet the server population...

How did HP finally get caught? HP was a pretty obvious cheater if you watched him. I remember getting ahold of K2 and giving him a demo that I recorded of HP obviously walling. K2 said he was lan proven and just good rofl. But it was quite obvious for a LONG time. I was very surprised to see him (as...

Q2 CTF was some fun shiznet. Probably the most fun I have had in an FPS ever. Luckily by that time I was on the early cable internet bandwagon. I remember buying dual SLI voodoo cards...those were the shit. Playing Quake1 online fun as well, although at that time, the net code was just really bad. I...

Yes, there is a adapter called a DVI to Analog connector or something. That will convert the fitting. Most current video cards come with one in case you need it.

Most current cards have two different inputs (Usually DVI and a standard analog), but not ALL current cards do. As was mentioned, also using 2 video cards can do the job.

Re: Dual Monitors?

does anyone know how to run dual monitors on a system? Is it even worth it? Hook me up with some feedback, thinking about possibly doing it. I've run dual monitors (LCDs now) for quite sometime. I would HIGHLY recommend it if you're some sort of software engineer or someone that uses any type of ca...

Well, the first time I played it, EVERYONE rushed...ended up very CT sided. Each time it gets rotated, I see T's starting to figure out what their roll is and how to best play the map. Last night, I saw T's win overall. So again, I think if you give it time, the balance may or maynot come. And as mu...

Yeah, you played one round of this map and decided it was crap shortly after it was put into rotation. I recall as I was playing it on the server with you and all you said is that CTs are pussy campers and Ts have no chance. I disagree and feel that after a few weeks of play, the teams will figure o...
