Re: [BLOG] Happy 17th birthday Hardfought!
I prefer Discord, where you can actually share stuff (images, videos, articles, etc) and they are given in an embedded format (so, unlike IRC, you actually see what a link is versus just risking it and not knowing what you're clicking on lol). I already run more communication applications than I rea...

[BLOG] Happy 17th birthday Hardfought!
You should setup a Discord server, it's basically IRC with benefits [it's base is IRC, but it can do everything that Skype can]. and it's free. You (K2) need to create it so you are the server owner. Then maybe we can start seeing people again and having occasional conversations. lol

Normal game of Fortnite is better, not just some [almost] cut and paste copy of another game.

Re: Life and other things
I'm not taking a picture of my fat belly. :P You couldn't see much anyway considering I have bandages over the 3 holes they cut in my belly. ;P Recovery coming along pretty well, as it usually does with gallbladder removal surgery, a few more days and I should be able to do most things normally agai...

Re: Life and other things
I did it, I just removed the specs from the image. And yeah they aren't the nicest emotes for dark background. On another note, just spent several days in the hospital, had to get my gallbladder removed. Came home yesterday hurting like a son of a bitch, today the persistent pain is gone, but doing ...

Re: Life and other things
I never used to camp until I played against you with that friggin AK. Bastard. :P Haha. You'd love to play against me now, I'm freaking horrible at FPS's these days. It's quite embarrassing, so I typically don't play them. :D Also can't wear headphones for very long, I overheat and/or get headaches...

Re: website move
That system in the picture is my business server, it's my jack of all trades workhorse. I keep malwarebytes and NOD32 on it (both licensed). I can pretty much clean any infected drive between those two. Ahh. Was just saying hope you got a lifetime license (for MBAM), like mine, otherwise these days...

lol, I see an old familiar friend in there. 2016-12-05 18-53-22.png Hope you got that way back in the day, like I did, when it was lifetime licenses. Edit: Which reminds me, I need to try to install it again. I'm on the fast ring of insider builds on Windows 10, several of the last few previous buil...

Look at him, trying to keep up with the modern terminology.
Most boring Thanksgiving I've ever had.
Thanks, Middleoffuckingnowhere, SC.
This place is terribly boring, lol.

Re: 10 Gbps ISP connection
Hah, but what it takes to even validate the need for such a connection is nuts. The only real reason to like the fact that internet is getting so fast is the price reduction it incurs on slower speeds. A city in NC was the first to actually offer 10gbps (Sept. 2015), and the first anything to actual...

Re: website move
Nice, I've been considering doing the same with my own website for a while now. I have a customer who pays enough for webhosting that I get a reseller account and host my site on the same host, but the last time he renewed he was considering paying a company for managed hosting (something I never wa...

KC: And I mentioned you twice because of bourbon and love. Probably a 50/50 balance between the two Haha, I was wondering. Spent about an hour trying to recall if there was anyone else who had those initials. I decided that after all of these years on the PC, all of the people I know online, and do...

Re: Just moved...
Yeah, friend of mine said a doctor told him roughly the same thing about the neck/shoulder, said usually pain is a result of a, seemingly, unrelated issue. I've tried stretching and several different suggestions I've read across the internet to no avail. It did actually ease off most of yesterday, b...

Just moved...
It's not Texas... but I just moved to SC with my mom (since she had 3 strokes a few years ago and I'm pretty much the only one around to help her out) 300 miles away from where I've lived my entire life (37 years). It's great and terrible all at the same time. Her mom passed away May 16, her and her...

Re: post your speed test
And now it's time for me to cry. I moved recently (making a separate post about this), entirely different company down here and they don't have the service level of Suddenlink. My numbers now look like this: https://www.speedtest.net/result/5414793477.png Though the tech did tell me I would likely s...

Re: post your speed test
Suddenlink has to be one of the best cable providers in the U.S., if not THE best, lol. As of April 1st the top 2 tiers of internet [in any given Suddenlink service area] now have unlimited bandwidth (here 200meg/1gig are the top 2 tiers). :D :D :!: doofy, lol, I was never really an AWP whore until ...

Re: post your speed test
lol... That's my last step up though, only thing higher is 1gig and it's $50 more per month than I pay now, so that's probably not going to happen (primarily because I don't want to spend money on all the extra hardware I would need to get those speeds). I don't get those speeds normally since my se...

Played over 300 hours in like 3-4 weeks, burned out. :( Really liked this game, even though I typically can't stand survival games at all. Definitely one of the most active development teams I've seen. Joined a YouTuber's/Streamer's squad not long before this game came out, played a lot with them in...

Re: post your speed test
I do still play games on and off, just not CS, or many FPSs for that matter. I played World of Tanks (WoT) for a long time but I quit over a year ago because the playerbase was just too full of idiots, actually sums up a lot of games these days. I play War Thunder (WT) a couple times a week generall...
