Hardfought Game Server has been shut down

If you happened to be in the Hardfought IRC channel last night, then you knew what was going to happen. I received a call from the company that was hosting my server a few days ago, and because of them starting a closing inventory, I had to pick up my box earlier this morning – a week earlier than what I had initially thought and planned for.

So… the Hardfought game server is officially offline, indefinitely :-( I have had a great deal of fun hosting my game server for all of you over the past 10 months. I’d like to say thank you to everyone who’s helped make Hardfought *the best* gaming server around – the admins who have helped me run things while I’m not around, the players who have built up our lil community here… everyone.

Just so you know… I will always be actively looking for another place to host my server. It may take some time, but eventually something that’s good on all fronts should pop up sometime in the future. And of course, when Neverwinter Nights is released, I can host a decent sized server from home, no problem, so if you’re into RPG’s, definitely stick around.

Oh yeah don’t forget – the Fragwire/Hardfought LAN party is just a month away… I’ll have more news and details about that here for ya in the next couple of days. I’ll have the Hardfought game server there for the event so we’ll have at least one kick-ass CS/Q3 box to use there.

Thanks a bunch everyone, it’s been a fun ride while it lasted. See ya online.
