Hardfought CS Invitational outcome, website moves

Just a quick blurb for ya before I make it to bed…

Some of you may or may not know that I am moving the 18th of this month. However, SouthWestern Bell in their infinite wisdom, decided to start the phone/DSL termination process *early* … came home to find my phone disconnected and my swbell email account non-functional. DSL was still working tho… heh. I called swbell and they say DSL will be turned off soon and by the time they can properly reverse the process, I’ll be moved out already…. go fuckin’ figure :-/ Sooo… instead of messing with that crap, I decided to just move the web content over to the game server now instead of waiting until I move. I wont have DSL there for a couple weeks after I get moved in, and was planning on the temporary website transfer anyways… just not this soon. If you’re reading this, then you’re viewing the page off the game server :-) Hopefully DNS records will propagate throughout the internet quickly so those still using the original address will only notice a short downtime. Some services will be down however… email for one :-( CSCop on HF2 will be down (I can only run one instance of CSCop on one machine) as will most of the MRTG scripts and the IRC linkbot. The message board still works, as does the match port reservation system and CSCop for HF1. If you need to send me an email for whatever reason, please send them to k2_1971@hotmail.com for the time being. Once I get DSL setup in the new apartment it’ll be business as usual.

The Hardfought CS Invitational Tournament finished this evening in what proved to be one of the closest, longest matches I have ever watched. In short – 3dL defeated TsK to become the overall champions, but all maps played were close… so close that the first one was a *tie* … more details on that in a couple days. I gotta get to bed… g’nite folks.
